As a coach to professional service firms I get to see things from a different perspective. Unburdened by the responsibilities of being the owner, an employer, the marketing manager, chief operations officer and chief rainmaker I get to observe up close what's really happening.
Whilst every firm is different, often I am struck by the similiarties in the issues which arise. Many times, the experiences of others and the solutions ultimately devised in those cases prove to be enormously helpful. So much so that this has been the catalyst to write two books thus far on what I have observed.
In the process of writing each of these books, a major theme has emerged - having A Great Day at the Office and Collaboration resepectively - to which I would like to develop workable models for practitioners to follow. In the books I have set out what I consider to be some helpful steps. However, I anticipate exploring the themes in more detail, with more writing and development to follow.
Accordingly I have dedicated this tab on the website to document the outcomes of this investigation and reflection. You are invited to return to these pages periodically as this process continues.
